 Steve B., alias Mangler, alias Isolated, alias Obvious-Enigma, originally joined ICU in 1996 and quickly became one of its most active members. Impressed by how he inspired fellow Ill Crew members with his impassioned words, Dabri saw fit to invite the young 17 year old out to Oakland, California to take on a leadership role within the ICU community. With a steady stream of ideas, high energy and an uncanny ability to motivate others, Steve B. became an asset to ICU. When ICU began to return to the underground Steve B. set out to learn as much about Hip-Hop business and life itself, as he had began to learn about the culture that had so impacted him. Steve would begin a journey that would mold him into the leader and activist he is today. After years of trying his hand at poetry, graffiti, journalism, promotions, production, turntablism and a host of other expressions, Steve returned to ICU ready to lend his spirit, experience and ideas. Now a father riveted by all the pain and joy of having experienced so many varied and interesting lessons he has dedicated himself to give back to that which he believes is responsible for so many of his blessings: Hip-Hop. He plans on doing this at the helm of the greatest Hip Hop organization in the world, Ill Crew Universal.
